How can we explain our current situation to our parents not living in the same cities? without alarming them?
Is the headspace app available for contingent workers to link with Maximus?
The EAP is available to children in an employee's household as well.
Headspace has a lot of programs focused on breathing, mindfulness, meditation and so much more. An, it's free for all employees. Go to mywellness-maximus.com, passphrase: WellnessNow# to find out how to enroll.
If you are a temporary worker or contingent worker, there is a Cigna EAP hotline available to you: 866-912-1687.
Sorry, headspace is not available to contingent workers under the Maximus account. You can sign up as an individual, but you would pay the standard fees.
if you use the phone line for EAP to talk to someone is it a different someone every time or can you speak to the same person each time
The EAP hone line will be different. But, if you want face-to-face counseling, let the EAP consultant know and they can set you up with a provider. The first 6 sessions are free.
The 6 sessions would be with the same person.
You would start on the phone, then let them help you get what you need.

I am know to chat with others waiting in line, from our distance, but just checking in with humanity makes me feel less isolated.
Especially the elderly.
We got started on Pokémon Go. (Don't judge). We blame friends, but it is actually fun taking the kids out and playing. Also, we turned OFF social media completely :)

Run a half mile for every treat :)
Whe I want to snack I keep my hands busy with other things - like crafting. Also drink a lot of water.
Try Brownies made of Avocado or Cookies made of Chickpeas -- guilt-free snacking. :) Thank me later!
Try crocheting! You can't eat if both of your hands are busy.
